May 27, 2020
Hello MTS Families,
We know what you are thinking. Is there really going to be a soccer season this fall? Why register when I can’t even try on a pair of cleats at Dicks Sporting Goods? We get it.
Honestly, we don’t know if there will be soccer this fall. However, this is a critical time of year for preparation for the Fall 2020 Season and recently there has been positive feedback from the State of Maine and Soccer Maine in regards to the outlook for fall soccer (likely with restrictions). In order to be eligible to play in the fall, the Board must register the list of teams with Soccer Maine by July 15th. Planning for the fall begins now so we must proceed as normal in the case that we get the green light to play the season.
So, we just need you to register. We don’t need payment at this time, there are no player evaluations. Even if you are uncertain, please register to keep a spot open. If the fall rolls around, please be assured that you can opt out of playing if you feel unsafe and you would be issued a full refund. The 2020 registration fee (to be collected at a later date) will be $155 per player with a family discount of $25 if registering 2 or more players.
Registration is currently open and closes June 19th. Players registering after June 19th will be put on a wait list and placed on a team if space is available. The link to our new registration website is provided below. Please note, because this is a new registration website each family must create a new account and register individual players.

If we were to proceed as normal, team formation would be completed July 15th and rosters finalized August 15th. We will keep you updated of our plans via email, Facebook and on our website. If you have any questions, please contact MTS President, Steve Jalbert, at email@example.com.
We thank you in advance for taking the time to register by June 19th!
